WebImplementing Midwifery Continuity of Carer. This module enhances and deepens the knowledge and understanding of midwifery units (MUs), so that midwives can support women with their choice for place of birth. WebThe Birth Centre Midwifery Model of care is a continuity model that offers low risk women an option of continuity care. The Birth Centre Midwives are responsible for a caseload of 40 women per year based on 1.0 FTE. The Birth Centre will aim to provide 24- hour continuity of clinical care across the continuum.
