WebJul 29, 2024 · There is a simple fix for this, for those who need it. It worked for me, at least. Open up your graphics card control panel. Now, in your panel, go to 3D Settings. Now turn 'Threaded Optimization' or 'OpenGL Optimization' to off. Then turn 'Vertical Sync' to on. I hope this helps anyone with the problem. WebAug 18, 2015 · Several things could be the culprit, it depends on what your settings are. Edit: First thing you should probably do is check to see if you have fast render on. It can cause flickering in some blocks, and when clouds are in fancy, they're pretty much just blocks with no collisions. It might not be working correctly, not sure which mod it is but try disabling that one alone. Optifine just makes the screen go black and then you can't do anything at all but restart the game.
